Leanne Perreault is a seasoned strategic communications and relationship-building leader with more than 25 years experience successfully advising senior executives, board chairs, and other leaders within public, private, and non-profit organizations.

She is widely recognized for her ability to synthesize complex ideas, communicate with clarity and tact, and build trusted, high-impact relationships.

Leanne has held senior roles at the University of Waterloo, including Director, Campaign Planning & Advancement Communications, and Director, Integrated Communications, where she led institution-wide initiatives including foundational work for a major comprehensive fundraising campaign and the creation of the University’s inaugural Global Impact Report.

Her private-sector experience includes serving as Director, Marketing Communications & Brand Management with Air Canada Jazz, where she led a full corporate rebrand. She has also held leadership roles in the Arts, including Director of Communications & Patron Experience at the Stratford Festival.

Known for her composure, judgement, and ability to navigate complexity, Leanne brings a rare combination of strategic insight, cross-functional collaboration, and relationship stewardship. She has built high-performing teams, delivered major multi-year projects, and cultivated a strong, diverse network of leaders and influencers nationwide.
