As CEO and Co-Founder of Overlap Associates, my work begins long before a project starts. I spend my time connecting with leaders, understanding what they’re navigating, and helping them articulate the opportunities and challenges that matter most. I look for the points of alignment — the overlap — between what an organization needs and where our team can create real value.

I shape the early stages of every engagement: listening, framing the work, and building the trust and clarity that set the conditions for strong collaboration. I love identifying emerging opportunities, bringing the right people together, and creating the momentum that allows strategy to take hold and grow.

Inside Overlap, I help ensure we stay anchored in relationships, grounded in purpose, and focused on the human side of strategy. Externally, I act as a connector — someone who pays attention to patterns across sectors and helps leaders make sense of what’s shifting around them.

At its core, Overlap has always been about changing the way people work. Making collaboration easier, decisions clearer, and strategy more human. Today, I’m especially energized by how this shows up in our Human–AI Overlap work, where we help leaders use AI in thoughtful, practical ways that strengthen clarity, collaboration, and everyday performance. It’s a new chapter that feels completely aligned with who we’ve been from the beginning.

Before founding Overlap, I worked in broadcasting at CBC and later held senior roles in fundraising, marketing, and partnerships in Canada and the UK. Those experiences taught me the power of clarity, storytelling, and trust. Principles that continue to guide my work today.
