As a Designer, Marilyn uses empathy, human-centred design, and interactive research methods to help people help other people. She engages with organizations, communities, and vulnerable populations to gather meaningful insights that help reframe complex challenges. 

Marilyn brings optimism into every aspect of her work. She has professional experience applying social psychology to patient engagement and education in healthcare, as well as years of experience in municipal community development and engagement where she worked on community gardens, sharing economies, and community-based solutions to urban inequalities. Marilyn holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology from the University of Windsor and a Master of Science in Health, Community, and Development from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
