Senior Strategy Advisor, Overlap UK
Colin Philpott has extensive experience as a senior leader committed to transformational change in the UK cultural and media sectors. He worked for the BBC for 25 years working on a range of news, current affairs and documentary programmes as a reporter, presenter, producer, editor and senior manager.

Colin has also worked as a non-executive director and as a trustee for a range of organisations in Britain including the Advertising Standards Authority, an NHS commissioning board, a film production company and the Yorkshire Film Archive.
He’s the author of three historical non-fiction books and the co-writer of a drama.
He is regularly asked to chair cultural events including the Ilkley and Bradford Literature Festivals.
He volunteers with two Yorkshire-based organisations, helping to mentor disengaged young people and delivering food and befriending older people.
